Alabama football will be without one of its defensive depth pieces against Mercer on Saturday. Redshirt junior edge Keanu Koht did not make the trip to LSU with the team, and will not play Saturday against the Bears.

Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoe r said linebacker Keanu Koht is suspended for an undetermined length. He was not with the team against LSU. DeBoer said Koht will not be with the team against Mercer Saturday afternoon. Koht has appeared in seven games for Alabama in 2024. He has five tackles, one tackle for loss and 0.5 sacks.
